the charter of the United Nations. President Truman
formally signed this charter declaration on August 8,
1945. This act established the United States as the first
charter member that ratified and joined this new
international organization [20] . This act marked the birth

of the United Nations; the “One-World” Government
was then in its early infancy.

The next step was the formation of NATO in 1949 to

combat the “cold war”. This act established a military
arm for the United Nations. Since then, the governing

Organization were formed. One can consider these

growing from its infancy into early childhood with legs to
run and expand its importance as the world governing

            power.

Presiding over the birth of the United Nations was only
the first part of President Harry Truman’s role that set

the path for the eventual fulfilment of ancient Bible
Prophecy. President Truman also played a pivotal role in
            the rebirth of Israel.

The Rebirth of Israel - President Harry S. Truman

distinguished himself as a decisive leader who could
make the hard decisions needed during tumultuous
times. He was known to be a feisty and brashly self-
confident leader who was an exceptionally original
thinker. These traits proved vital to the most important
