In Chapter 3, we explained in depth how this law began
to lead many churches to speak cautiously and even
keep silent during election seasons. This law effectively
mandated that churches refrain from endorsing political
candidates or engage in practices that could be

construed as politically activism. As a result, many
churches now shy away from proclaiming bold and
sound Biblical doctrine - in effect silencing their voices.
Soon secular groups exploited this law; the term
“Separation of Church and State” became their lever.
Churches that embraced these false precepts began
their slide into apostasy as they increasingly abandoned
their bold teachings of true Biblical doctrine and yielded

to “political correctness”. Critically important Biblical
mandates on issues such as sanctity of life, family, and
sexuality were increasingly ignored, or at best timidly
taught. Johnson’s amendment became the lever that
led many politicians to further extremes. Such has
progressed to the levels that many political figures now

seek to subjugate religious liberties and regulate church
teachings on such matters as “Choice, Sexual Liberty,
and even Climate.” In their view, religious conscience is
unlawful in America [9-12, 59 and 61] .

Prophetic impacts while standing aside – Throughout
the Johnson Presidency, major ancient prophecies that
marked milestones for Biblically prophetic timelines
were fulfilled (see Table below). GOD was continuing to
restore Israel to its full glory, just as HE had long
promised (Is. 49:14-23). Yet, in stark contrast to
President Truman who played pivotal roles, President
