Nations, the “One-World” government body, which was
            birthed in 1945.

            Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President (1933-1945).
Volumes have been written documenting FDR’s
accomplishments as President. However, our focus is to
trace his role in the key developments that contributed
to the rise and prominence of Global Governance.

The League of Nations eventually folded when this body
proved to be ineffective in preventing Adolf Hitler from
leading Germany and forcing World War II. During 1942,
as Hitler’s army was ravaging across Europe, a
determined alliance was initially and unofficially formed

as a declaration between 26 nations. This alliance soon
became known as The United Nations (UN) [17] . This
name was coined by President Franklin D. Roosevelt [18] .
It was first used on January 1, 1942 in an official
declaration that was signed by representatives of these
original 26 nations. They pledged that their governments
would fight together against the Axis Powers. Although
President Roosevelt did not live to see the official birth

of The United Nations, his actions served much like a
pediatric doctor who administered the vital prenatal
care needed to nurture this global body into a healthy
            birth [19] .

Harry S. Truman, the 33rd President (1945-1952) was
the next major POTUS who played a key role in
prophetic developments. Initially, Truman’s role also
pertained to Global Governance. His signature marked
the official document that recognized and established
