given the extraordinary honor of being a pivotal
instrument of GOD. Israel’s leaders still recognize
President Truman, as a modern Cyrus for that time.

Lyndon Baines Johnson, the 36th President (1963-1969)
Lyndon B. Johnson rose to the Presidency because he
was an exceptionally powerful Senator from Texas.
Although he did very little to directly impact Prophecy,

his inadvertent actions as Senator, combined with his
lack of action as President had profound impacts on
major prophecy fulfillments of our times. For this
reason, much explanation is warranted.

Prophetic impacts of unintended consequences.
Angered by political advocacy groups in a bitterly fought
Senator campaign, Lyndon Johnson used his power to
curtail his Texas political foes. He secured passage of his
so called “Johnson Amendment” that brought about the
so call “501c.3” tax provisions. These rules placed steep
restrictions on charitable donations to organizations that
engage in political activism. In fairness, it is unlikely that

he had any idea or intent that this law would be used to
limit or silence church voices in the political arena.
However, this infamous law has had profound impacts
on Prophecy fulfillment while doing very little to limit
political action groups. Yet, it marked the tipping point
that started America along its path toward Apostasy,
thus fulfilling the prophecy of the “Great Falling Away”

that is now taking place (II Thess. 2:3, I Tim. 4:1-5).
