e Importance of Language
The importance of language in our
lives is overwhelming. It is what allows
us, as a human race, to communicate
our feelings, opinions, and thoughts.
The ability to communicate is what will
eventually create a globalized world in
as "us" rather than as "them."
At Carrollton, the students are given
the opportunity to learn Spanish,
French, or both. This is a great advan
tage because being bilingual or even
trilingual bro a d en s the ran ge of
opportunity for the future.
The Carrollton French and Spanish
classes are taught by Mme. Himmer,
Mme. Suarez, Mrs. Casals, and Mrs.
Machin. The students not only learn
how to read and write the language,
but they also learn the history and cul
ture of the countries where the lan
guage they are studying is spoken.
