Life application: Based on discharging the electrostatic Charges.

1- The Lightening rod:

Importance: is a system used to protect
installations and buildings from lightning strikes.
Composition: Metal rod
Lower end is fixed in a metal plate that is buried in
the ground.
Upper end: is pointed, through which, the electric charges that are
accumulated on nearby clouds pass to the ground without causing any
damage to the building.

2- Fuel transport vehicles:

1. Fuel transport vehicles have metal
chain that dangle to touch the ground

the surface of the fuel tank, to prevent
