HASKELL STEEL
Performing well above targeted goals, the Haskell
Steel team of professional craft employees (PCEs)
and manufacturing professionals expended over
90,000 hours on self-perform and contract
services, fabricating more than 12,000 tons of
structural and miscellaneous steel with zero
recordable incidents. Our 12th Street facility in
Jacksonville, Florida, increased its production
output by 9.7% and increased efficiency from 13.2
hours per ton in 2021 to 12.8 in 2022. Additionally,
investments made in equipment early in 2022
expanded our capabilities in miscellaneous metals
fabrication, such as stairs, platforms, crossovers
and handrails, a scope that was previously
co-manufactured. This increased capability
improves our ability to provide project certainty
and increases margin potential of a significant
component of Division 5 (metal) construction. The
Haskell Steel team contributed $75.7 million in
revenue and $6.5 million in contribution to Haskell
in 2022, increasing margins from 4.5% to 8.6%.
