The Emirates Sports Federation for School and University Education Institutions sets plans for implementing the school games project and
promoting the attendance of priority sports
During a series of meetings with the sports federations included in the project
Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum: The plans of the sports federations included in the School Games project help lay the
foundation for the process of discovering sports talents and accomplish the first and most important step in the
project to create new Emirati champions
The school games project includes priority sports (judo – fencing – archery – bow and arrow – athletics) as well as
taekwondo, badminton and swimming
The Emirates Sports Federation for school and university education institutions is working on developing
cooperation mechanisms between sports federations to develop and implement technical plans in cooperation with
the Ministry of Education
