RTA awards contract to widen bridge
leading to Terminal 1 of DXB

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Dubai
Airports, has awarded a contract to expand and upgrade the bridge leading
to Terminal 1 at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
The project is designed to improve traffic flow, shorten travel times, and enhance
the overall customer experience, in response to the airport’s continued passenger
growth, which surpassed 92 million in 2024.
