Intermittent Fasting (IF)


            What is it?


            IF is not a diet, it’s a pattern of eating. It’s a way of scheduling your
            meals so that you get the most out of them. Intermittent fasting doesn’t
            change what you eat, it changes when you eat.


            There are different types if IF or fasting:

               •  16/8 method

               •  Eat-Stop-Eat method

               •  the 5:2 Diet

            Why is it used?


            There is nothing “unnatural” about fasting - our bodies are equipped to
            do it.

            When fasted, we get significant reductions in blood sugar and insulin
            levels, as well as a drastic increase in human growth hormone.
