               Zig-Zags Guess 1950s. eBay purchase from vendor East Texas Antiques. 76"x86½" Fabric: Cottons. Batting:
               Thin to medium weight. Backing: Aqua-colored cotton. Edge: The back is brought to the front by ½" and
               top stitched. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: By hand in clam shells 1¼" apart, 4 stitches per inch. Condition:
               There is some age browning on the back beneath black patches. Very good. Comment: The seller specializes
               in African-American quilts but didn’t say this one was by a black artist.
