               Broken Star, Orange 1930s tangerine colors. Puyallup, WA antique store 1998. 81"x94½" Fabric: Cotton.
               Batting: Medium. Backing: Cotton. Edge: Silky textured ribbon 1" on each side attached by hand on both
               sides. Piecing: Machine. Quilting: By hand, 6 to 8 stitches per inch, inside each pieced diamond. In the
               white squares, a unique pattern of a 4-petaled flower within a box with concave sides, and a diamond in
               each corner. In the white triangles, concentric Vs about 1" apart. Some pencil marks for the quilting show.
               Condition: Very good, possibly unwashed. There are two freckles on the white over palpable debris in the
               batting.
