Airplane fabric back. Printed with dates, the latest of which is 1922. It names a Ford Trimotor airplane which
was produced from 1925 to 1933. Antique mall, Thorp, WA. 36"x62" Fabric: Cotton airplane fabric. Batting:
Thick cotton. Backing: Back: 5" blocks, pink and white gingham alternated with red and green plaid flannel,
with navy squares in the corners and one along the middle of each long edge. Edge: Airplane fabric is
brought to the patchwork side 1" and top stitched. Piecing: Patchwork side: by machine. Quilting: Tied
with red yarn. Condition: Excellent. Comment: The interest of this piece is in the novelty of the print.
