   Introduction
   Amid Sudan’s deepening economic crises and increasing developmental
   challenges, the 3rd Sudan Global Agricultural Forum rearmed agriculture
   as Sudan’s strategic pillar for food security and economic revival.  e event
   was co-organized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forests and
   MansSo Integrated Solutions, and brought together high-level ocials,
   experts, diplomats, and investors from both Sudan and abroad.
   Key Speakers and Participants
   A diverse panel of national and international speakers addressed the forum,
   including:
   Minister of Agriculture and Forests
   Representative of the Agricultural Bank of Sudan
   Representative of the Zakat Chamber
   Prof. Mamoun Daw Albeit, who chaired and moderated the sessions
   Representative of the Registrar of Agricultural Cooperatives – Ministry of
   Justice, who discussed the legal and organizational challenges facing agricul-
   tural  cooperatives,  including  weak  governance  structures,  absence  of
   unied regulations, and nancial mismanagement.
   International and Diplomatic Presence:
   Ambassadors and representatives of India, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Africa,
   the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the European Union.
   Prominent Arab delegations, most notably the Omani delegation, which
   presented investment opportunities between Oman and Sudan.

   A documentary exhibition was held alongside the main sessions. It consist-
   ed entirely of brochures, printed materials, and promotional documents,
   rather than physical displays of equipment or machinery. Key participants

   Reform agricultural nancing mechanisms, oering ¡exible, inclusive loan
   products.
   Promote  and  localize  modern  agricultural  technologies,  supported  by
   public and private service providers.
   Develop agro-industrial projects in production regions to increase value
   addition and create jobs.
   Simplify  agricultural  investment  procedures  and  provide  clear  national
   investment mapping.
   Establish a national agricultural commodities exchange to regulate pricing
   and market access.
   Reform zakat and taxation policies to ease burdens on smallholder farmers.
   Strengthen  agricultural  cooperatives  through  legal,  administrative,  and
   nancial capacity-building.
   Modernize agricultural extension and training centers with updated curricu-
   la and outreach tools.
   Foster  international  partnerships  in  research,  technology  transfer,  and
   green nancing.
   Support both rain-fed and irrigated agriculture, with infrastructure develop-
   ment.
   Empower rural women and youth through dedicated funding and entrepre-
   neurship programs.
   Establish a national monitoring committee to oversee implementation of
   recommendations and report to the Cabinet.
   Conclusion
    e 3rd Sudan International Agricultural Forum served as a vital platform
   to reimagine Sudan’s agricultural future through evidence-based dialogue
   and  actionable  insights.  While  its  recommendations  formed  a  clear
   roadmap for reform, the greatest challenge remains translating policy into
   practice, and moving from discussion to implementation.
