Later in the day, our Top Teens held their Plenary 3 Session which included the action packed National projects overview
with Teen Cashana Diggs, Area II Second Vice President. Cashana acknowledged all Chapter 2nd Vice Presidents before she
called on members to share their reports. The selected Top Teens read their reports using the Activity Evaluation Form used
by all chapters in Area II. The excitement and comfort was apparent as they showed pride in their work.

Teen Alona Hall, Area II Chair for St. Jude shared the National video and presented a gift to the winner of her challenge,
Teen Madison Crimes, Prince George’s County who raised $245.00. After showing the video of the TLOD National Presi-
dent, Lady Drema Lee Woldman and the TTA National President, Teen Gerra Gistand on their visit to St. Jude, Mrs. Libby
Hurley, St. Jude representative attended and spoke about the wonderful opportunities we provide for families that have a
need to come to St. Jude for cancer care. Questions were asked by the Top Teens to help them learn more about St. Jude
and all of the possibilities to continue to contribute. It concluded with an informative question and answer session with the
Top Teens.

The Executive Board for 2017 – 2019 was announced and installation of officer’s ceremony was performed. The new offic-
ers were congratulated afterwards.

The TLOD Gala was exciting as Mr. and Miss. TTA was presented. Their Royal Waltz went very well and was enjoyed by all.
Compliments go to Top Teens Advisor Michele Bell, Southern Maryland Chapter and Top Teens Advisor Katina Robinson-
Wright, Prince George’s chapter for the fantastic job of teaching the waltz and presenting Mr. and Miss TTA.
After the Gala with the Top Ladies, the Top Teens were introduced to DJ Richard Blake at their “Blue and Silver Ball”.
The Top Teens and Top Teens Advisors had a “Ball” at their Blue and Silver Ball to be evident by them appearing on the
dance floor dancing the night away.
