Trinity West Chapter President’s Retreat

Trinity West Chapter held President’s Retreat on Saturday August 19th 2017 at University of
North Texas Campus. It was an all-white affair!
The theme for the retreat was a Winning
Mindset, focusing on Leadership with
emphases on commitment and serving.
President Murphy begin the retreat with a
motivational greeting by asking the question
are you READY, DEDICATED, AND
COMMITTED? ...if so, Let the Retreat
Begin !! The retreat was design to provide
inspiration, information, and new challenges
as we go forth to serve the president stated.
After President Murphy’s teambuilding activity, she introduced the empowerment speaker on
Leadership who was absolutely phenomenal. Following was a game designed by President
Murphy "do you wear the crown”. Afterwards, she shared her vision for 2017-2018 year along
with the program of works calendar, committee projects and her goal for a 5 star chapter.

Afterwards, the National Area I Director, Lady Harnell Williams shared
information on Area I.
The retreat ended with door prizes and of course a delicious lunch. Lady
Karen Burns Iwuji wrote: ‘I had a great time. Lady Murphy Kuddos to you
on a very well organized and inspiring retreat”.
