New Employee Hires and Employee Turnovers
We employed 11 new employees during the reporting period. All new employees satisfy the definition of
being ‘local’. The age profile of new hires stood at the following:
Age Number of New Hires
20-29 9
30-39 2
40-49 0
50-59 0
The number of new engagements, age, gender, and region of our new employee hires indicates our human
capital growth strategy and our ability to attract diverse, qualified employees. This signifies our efforts to
implement an inclusive recruitment practice targeting disenfranchised groups and vulnerable groups in
terms of age and gender. During the reporting period we employed 9 individuals within the 20-29 age
bracket. This signifies our commitment to drawing on the energy and exuberance of youth.
Our Human Resources growth strategy involves targeting competent individuals that will add to the soft
skills and technical capacity of the organization. We have a low staff turnover rate of 11.7% - this proves the
company largely meets the many needs and expectations of staff. This means there are little to no changes
in the human and intellectual capital of the organisation, which would otherwise impact on productivity.
