1 New OFC ELECTRONICS has been provided at LGD & MTMI Bypass cabinsas a
part of system improvement in telecom network.

2 Battery banks of 48V/200AH capacity have been
provided at 09 OFC locations (INK, NKD, KDM, NSKL,
MTMI, HMBD, PNDP, KMT and PPY) as a part of reliability
improvement in OFC communication network in place of
aged battery.

3 Battery banks of 12V/100AH capacity have been replaced for 25W VHF sets at
09 stations (KZJ’F’, NKD, JMKT, ZB, BIDR, KMNR, CKX, PRLI, YGL) as a part of
reliability improvement in VHF communication network.

4 Railnet Bandwidthhas been enhanced to 20 Mbps at Hyderabad station, as a
part of system improvement of Railnet connectivity.

5 Railnet facility has been extended to PNDP, ZB, RCPT stations with 4Mbps
bandwidth.

6 Earthing arrangement for telecom installations has been provided at 11
locations (ZN, WP, RGPM, JMKT, BGSF, BKL, PQL, NSKL, GNP, WP-ALER IB, RGP-
IPG IB) as a part of reliability improvement of Quad cable communication.

7 SCADA network has been upgraded with 2Mbps E1 connectivity in 18 sections
in Kazipet – Balharsha route as a part of system improvement of Remote
Control Communication.

8 Data logger network has been upgraded with 2Mbps E1 connectivity SKP-HYB,
SC-BG, WP-ZN, WL-GUU, KZJ RRI –BGSF, RECH-VEM, SRUR-MKDI MAGH-GDCR as
a part of reliability improvement of data logger network.

3. ACHIEVEMENTS / HIGHLIGHTS:

SIGNAL
1. Commission of Third Line:

Third line between Potkapalli and Kolanur stations (Length – 7.754 Km) with the
existing DN Main line between KOLR –Odela and existing UP main line between
Odela -PTKP are designated as Bi-directional line has been commissioned with
following features by S&T Construction/SC to improve the Reliability.

a. Potkapalli (PTKP) – Klanur (KOLR) section third line
and commissioned on 24.04.2021.
