2.1.19. GOODS SIDING WORK AT ZN:

The following works were taken up at ZN goods siding during the block
time of 20 days.
 Dismantling of old Goods line.
 Slewing and lifting of Line No. 1 as Track machine siding.
 Laying of 1 new point.
 Shifting of 3 nos of OHE Masts.
 Laying of New Goods lines - 2 lines of CSR lengths 344m and 444m
respectively.
 Laying of WBM between line No. 2 and 3 for goods loading platform.
 Concrete Pathway of 150 m length for Track machine siding for
machine maintenance.
 Provided Pre cast RCC slabs for newly developed open drain in siding
to ensure no water logging.

2.1.20. INAUGURATION OF TRACK MACHINE SATTELITE DEPOT:

Satellite depot at KZJ station has been completed and inaugurated by
PCE/SCR. Additional machines like HOBCM, dynamic 3X etc are
getting added year by year but the available infrastructure is only one
line for track maintenance , IOH, stabling, small shed etc. are grossly
inadequate to cater demand, thereby it is forced to send track
machines to Rayanapadu depot. When more than one machine
comes for maintenance there is no line/ track , hence there is need to
augment capacity. In view of this, above laying of new STMD lines and
repairs to old STMD lines at KZJ yard has been done.
