3.1.4. RELAXATION OF LONG PENDING TSR ON BR NO 189:
Bridge no. 189 DN at BPQ end between RECH-RLW stations, span was
vibrating very badly during train movement and the slabs was getting
lifted more than 3-4 mm for every train movement. In view of this,
sleeper matting was done for hard & level floor and C.C cribs were
inserted in span above cribs with the help of 4 nos jack of each 100 ton
capacity. Slab was lifted 30 mm by using jack and epoxy grouting was
done in abutment and pier to level the top surface so that vibration of
slab could be stopped. After setting the epoxy, the slab lowered and
removed jack within the block period. By taking up this repair works
long standing TSR of 50 kmph has been relaxed to normal speed ie.120
kmph and amount of Rs.55 lakh has been saved.

3.1.5. BEAUTIFICATION OF LC GATES:
Beautification of LC gates has been done during the month in the division.
