LINGAMPET JAGTIYAL :

Jagtial is a commercial hub in Peddapalli - Nizambad section and it
also mainly deals with Fertilizers and Food grains traffic. The existing
width of the loading platform was only 11 M and it has been extended
by 14 M to make it full size platform of 25M width & 700 M length. The
existing kuchha platform surface was improved with Moorum surfacing.
Traditionally fertilizers and food grains used to be handled at this
station. With the intensive efforts of the BDUs, non traditional mango
loading was tapped from nearby locations and as many as 42 no. of
rakes were loaded during 20020-21. For improvement of Goods shed

an investment of Rs.92 Lakhs was done which has improved the
utilisation of Goods shed effectively. A total of 93 rakes were loaded
and Rs.42.6 Crores were earned during the period September 2020 to
August 2021.

KAZIPET:

Hump siding (ballast siding) of KAZIPET station with CSR 700mts is
identified for loading of Dolomite and found that this line is feasible for
loading of Dolomite blocks. Circulating area is developed by leveling
and connection approach roads. With this work, Loading of Dolomite

(3 to 4 rakes per month) will generate an income of Rs.60 to Rs.80
Lakh rupees per month and Rs.7.2 to Rs.9.60 Crores per annum comes
to the railway.
