2.1.13. SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AT KZJ:
Sewage treatment plant has been provided at KZJ station.

2.1.14. GOODS LOADING PLATFORM:

For capturing this traffic through rail network, development of proper
infrastructure is must. As many as eight Goods Sheds were identified
and developed in Kazipet-Peddapalli and Peddapalli-Lingampet -
Jagtiyal sections by doing soft upgrades. The Goods Sheds identified in
Kazipet-Peddapalli section are Hasanparthy, Oppal, Peddapalli and in
Peddepalli-Lingampet Jagtial section are Sultanabad, Karimnagar,

Gangadhara, Lingampet Jagtiyal & Metpalli

The identified soft upgrades includes improvement of approach road,
provision of Resting sheds for hamalies, widening of existing loading
platforms, drainage improvements, improvement of illumination,
development of greenery etc. At these stations, based on the
commodity to be loaded, PF surface has been decided to optimise the

expenditure to be incurred. For heavy loading and unloading points,
concrete pathway has been planned and for the locations where
granite loading is perceived, macadam road has been adopted. At
two stations, loading surface has been improved duly providing
released PSC sleeper matting. Despite the prevailing severe Covid
pandemic conditions, all these minimum infrastructure works were
completed within a record time of less than one year.

PEDDAPALLI:

Peddapalli is District Head Quarters station . The main
loading/unloading activities are Food grains/Fertilizers. The old goods
loading platform surface was WBM with full of pot holes with poor
drainage conditions.The trucks were unable to move through the pot
