bitterly complaining about the condition of the loading platform
surface. Loading activities were hampered in rainy season with the
existing condition of platform surface. Now the surfacing has been

improved with WBM surface & power roller compaction. Concreting
surfacing has also been provided for full length of 700mts and 25 mts
width along with side drains are provided on main line side to facilitate
drainage.New resting shed for hamalie of size 16.0 x 8.0m and toilet
block of size 4.0 x 8.0m has also been constructed in addition to the
old Hamali shed. Vitrified tile flooring is provided inside the hall and
granite seating benches are provided. 3 Nos of latrines, 6 nos of Urinals,
5 nos of taps were provided In the toilet block. Improvements have

been done to the existing resting shed and plantation was also done
infront of building to make the goods loading area eco friendly. For
improvement of Goods shed an investment of Rs.278 Lakhs was done which
has improved the utilisation of Goods shed effectively. A total of 82 rakes
were loaded and Rs.24.4 Crores were earned during the period September
2020 to August 2021.

UPPAL:

OPL Railway station is an important station on KZJ – BPQ section of
South-Central Railway. Transportation of coal, granite and food grains
will be taking place from a dedicated siding line. Due to the
