for loading. Three tower lights have also been provided to improve the
illumination levels. For improvement of Goods shed an investment of
Rs.35 Lakhs was done which has improved the utilisation of Goods shed

effectively. A total of 83 rakes were loaded and Rs.28.2 Crores were
earned during the period September 2020 to August 2021.

KARIMNAGAR:

Karimnagar is an important goods loading point and district
headquarters station. It mainly deals with loading/ unloading Granite,
Fertilizers and Food grains. Out of full length 700 mts loading platform,
concrete surfacing was available only for 350 M length. Customers
were frequently complaining regarding non-availability of proper
surfacing for the balance 350 M length. The balance 350 M length of

platform was improved with concrete surfacing to facilitate easy
movement of heavy trucks. Now the total size of the platform i.e 25 x
700 Mtrs is available with concrete surfacing. For improvement of
Goods shed an investment of Rs.120 Lakhs was done which has
improved the utilisation of Goods shed effectively. A total of 404 rakes
were loaded and Rs.120.3 Crores were earned during the period
September 2020 to August 2021. Presently, this goods shed is handling
more than 1MT of traffic anually.
