INRSF COMPENDIUM
Take a Book, Take a Break In line with the National Reading Month
LITERACY PANTRY Celebration, Ilocos Norte Regional School of
Fisheries specifically the 4H Club joins the
advocacy to elevate the reading and
comprehension ability of students.
On March 4, 2022, the poster of the Sappuyut
Program was publicized on the official Facebook
page of INRSF. Through this activity, some
generous donors gave an amount to support the
program.
On the 7th of March, all the language
teachers with the School Governance Officers ,
distributed reading materials in the five
barangays of La Paz namely, Brgy. 32-A, 32-B, 32-
C, 33-A and 33-B to provide reading materials at
home. Recipients were the children of fisherfolks
as well as students who were identified as
struggling readers. This endeavor of INRSF did
not only benefit our students but also the
elementary students of Eulalio F. Siazon
Unionbank Donation Memorial Elementary School (EFSMES), who will
soon be our students, too.
ESTABLISHMENT OF NUMERACY NOOK
With the initiative of Mr. Richard Paulino, Math Club Adviser, the
establishment of the numeracy nook was realized. The Unionbank
Manager, Mrs. Janeth Guillermo Gapusan, donated an amount for
the construction supplies to be used in the numeracy nook. The
donor asked for a detailed list of materials and its cost. Through this,
the materials were completed and the immediate construction of
the nook was realized.

METRO LA PAZ SUPPORT
During the pandemic, flood of donations was given to the
school from generous stakeholders and private sectors.
Barangay 33-A distributed learners kit to selected 33-A INRSF
students. The aim of this activity is to aid the learners in their
material needs. Inside the long plastic envelopes are pad
papers, pencils, pens and highlighter. This was to ensure that
learning continuity can still happen during financial crunch
brought about by the pandemic. The SGC members and
barangay officials initiated the donation drive for students.
