SDCB has a manageable number of schools under its jurisdiction. The distribution
of the schools in the 43 barangays of the City of Batac is described by the following table.

Only 24 out of 43 barangays in the City of Batac has a public elementary school.
Barangays that have 2 public schools are Brgy. Sumader (Sumader Elementary School &
Cumcumraas- Manggaddi- Pitpitac Elementary School) and Brgy Tabug (Catalino Acosta
Memorial Elementary School & Tabug Elementary School). At present, the number of
elementary schools in the City caters the majority of the learner population since some
schools have wide catchment areas (or more barangays) to serve.

For secondary, Brgy. Valdez being the barangay in the heart of the city has more
schools in it. It has two private schools which also offer elementary curriculum, namely:
Batac Junior College, Inc., and Immaculate Conception Academy. Likewise, it in this
barangay that all 3 complete secondary schools are located: Batac Junior College, Inc.,
Batac Institute, Inc., and Immaculate Conception Academy.
