Quality
In terms of quality, the schools division’s performance is measured mainly along
learning outcomes. This includes the achievement rate, functional literacy rate, among
others.

Since the last administration of the Language Assessment for Primary Grades in
2017-2018, the National Achievement Test (NAT) for Grades 6 and 10 in the same year,
and the Basic Education Exit Assessment for Grade 12 in SY 2018-2019, the division’s
Mean Percentage Scores (MPS) are far and below the national standard of 75%. This
means that the MPS obtained by the division in the assessed areas are lower than 75. The
following table shows these scores.
