eventually benefited the learners, the education stakeholders, and the educational
                   community as a whole.

The SDO tracks its performance in terms of Quality through monitoring by the CID
on the Most and Least Learned Competencies, Mean Percentage Scores during
Summative Assessments every Quarter, Learner Promotion Data, among others. With the
absence of data on standardized assessments by the DepEd for the last 3 years on learning
outcomes, the SDO obtain its data on quality through monitoring and research.

On the other hand, the SDO provides various interventions to improve quality
through conduct of trainings, coaching and mentoring on instructional supervisions, and
support through technical assistance. The conduct of upskilling and reskilling activities of
teachers and school heads on content and pedagogy through online platforms were done
during the pandemic. In addition, the provision of learning resource materials for printed
modular learning has been the focus of the implementation of the SDO’s Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan in the past school year. The SDO through the CID has established
the division quality assurance process for the development of learning resources across
                   grade levels and learning areas.

Partners and stakeholders also provide curriculum support in the implementation
of learning continuity. The City Government of Batac (CGB) through the Local School
Board (LSB) provided the schools with supplies and equipment for the printing of the
modules. The SDCB Federated PTA also lead the parents and school stakeholders in
module distribution and retrieval, maintenance of the school grounds, and preparations
                   for the limited face-to-face classes.

                   III. STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

                          building a cohesive nation

                       B. SECTOR OUTCOME
Filipino basic education learners have the physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and

                       C. INTERMEDIATE OUTCOMES (IOs)
In order to achieve the Sector Outcome, the DEDP is aligned to the Basic Education
Development Plan (BEDP) in terms of including the four pillars of Access, Equity,
Quality, and Resilience, and enabling mechanisms for governance and
management. The intermediate outcomes for each pillar and enabling
