▪ Deformation
▪ Frames and protection against displacement
▪ Load bearing limits information available
▪ Anti-slippery surface (outdoor platforms)
GOOD PRACTICE:
▪ Assure that the platform / walkway to inspect is clean and free of accumulated or
stored material.
▪ Inspection tool box should include: digital camera, notebook, spray paint and markers,
hammer, metallic brush, screw driver or other tools to tight fixations, measure tape
and gauge caliber.
▪ Defects can be physically marked on the field with color spray or painted and also
marked on a plan of the zone inspected.
REMARKS:
▪ Access restriction must be immediately implemented to any platform / walkway
assessed as "unsafe for use".
