Grating and Checker Plates

CORRECT INSTALLATIONS

INCLUDES:

• Correct position and installation of grating:
- Bearing bars at span direction
- Banding on the bearing bars edges
- Cross bars at the upper part
• Support length of the gratings must be ≥ 25 mm
• Installation tolerances are respected
• New installations must meet or exceed StDC
(Standard Design Criteria) requirements.

GOOD PRACTICE:

• Consult manufacturer’s installation manual and applicable standards
