SILO SAFETY DEVICES

INCLUDES:
▪ Verification that the safety devices installed are in good condition of
operation, regularly maintained and, if needed, calibrated.
GOOD PRACTICE:
▪ Maintain the safety devices clean and free of material accumulation that could
jeopardize their correct functioning
REMARKS:
▪ Regular inspection and maintenance of safety devices in a silo (pressure
gauges, pressure relief valves, switches, alarms, level indicators, ATEX related
control devices,..) shall be part of preventive maintenance routines.
