INSPECTION FROM UNDERNEATH

ASSESS:
▪ Signs of leakage and water entrance
▪ Corrosion of roof panels or supporting elements

▪ Deflected, deformed or broken elements
▪ Connections on support structure (Missing fasteners, cracks in welds,

corrosion)
▪ Fixations missing or corroded
▪ Openings and penetrations not reinforced and framed

GOOD PRACTICE:
▪ Start always your roof assessment by inspecting underneath the structure. The most

important part of roof inspections can be carried out from underneath
