Then the moko man jumped to the ground and went into
a warrior like dance,
while continuing to furiously chant in a booming voice.
His voice seemed to pierce the sound barrier
and the veil of confusion hovering over the area.
He could be heard over the rumbling of the
chemicals that seemed ready to explode;
then strangely they appeared to respond
to his fierce call.
The rumbling sounds subsided into silence..........
The man under the debris stirred and started to
push the pieces of wood off his chest. Tentatively at
first, the other men finally started to rush to his side and
help him get free.
