'Under' and 'Below’
               'Under' is used :


               (a)  moving to a place that is below something or that is covered by it.

               Example: The cat is under       the table.

               (b)  covered by something.

               Examples:      (i)  The boat lay under  several feet of water.

                             (ii) I felt that he was hiding something under      his jacket.

               'Below' is used :

               to mean that somebody or something is at a lower position or level than somebody or
                something.


               Example :     Don't write below    this line.

               'Between' and 'Among’

               'Between' is used :

               for two persons or things.

               Example :     Granny is sitting between       Bulbul and Kuhu.

               'Among' is used :

               for more than two persons or things.

               Example :     Distribute these toffees among        the students.

          2.  Prepositions of Time :

               Preposition  of  time  are  used  to  indicate  time  (when  something  happens)  or  the

                duration of something.

               Examples :     (i)  He has been living in Delhi for     five years.

                              (ii)  He will arrive here  5 o' clock.
               In the above sentences, 'for'      and 'at'  are preposition. Some other prepositions of time

                are –  after  before  on  since  during  till  from  by   etc.
                                     ,
                                          ,
               By
               'By' is used :
               (a)  to indicate the latest time by which an action will be over.
                     Example :     The exam will be over by      11 p.m.
