               'At' and 'On’

               'At' is used :

               to denote a particular time but can also be used to refer to indefinite periods.

               'On' is used :

               to specifies days and dates, to refer a surface of something and the parts of the body.


               Examples :     (i)   He with his father is coming here on      Monday.

                              (ii)  Christians celebrate Christmas on       25 December.

                              (iii)  I kept the fruits on  the dinning table.

               'From', 'For' and 'Since'

               'From' is used :

               to express a point of time.

               Example :     Our examination will begin from         the 17th of April.

               'For' is used  :

               to indicate the period of time.

               Example :     He has been absent for      three days.

               'Since' is used :


               to express a point of time when the action started.

               Example :     He has been living here since      2021.

          3.  Preposition of Direction :

               Preposition of direction denote the direction or movement of persons or things with
                respect to something else.

               Example :      The lion was moving towards        the herd of goats.

               In the above sentence, towards        is the preposition. Some other prepositions of direction
