         Leaves of Absence
 Leaves of Absence
Leave benefits are granted by the Company to the employees to
allow them to be absent for authorized reasons. However, approval by
the immediate superior and department head of such employee are
necessary to make the absences or leaves official or unauthorized. Such
immediate superior and/or department head may deny an application
for leave if the cause or reason is invalid or unjustified depending on
the surrounding circumstances. Unapproved absences or leaves are
considered unauthorized and therefore will be subject to disciplinary
 action.

 Documentation

It is the employee’s responsibility to file the corresponding application for
leave and for seeking proper approval. An absence of more than 5 hours
is considered as a one (1) day leave and therefore should be filed as such.

To give the Company ample time to make work schedule adjustments in
lieu of the absence of an employee, advance notice or filing is required:
Personal Leave: At least 2 days before the date of leave
Vacation leave: At least 1 month before the period of leave
