xi) DEVELOPMENT OF EXPLODED VIEW OF 3PH LOCOMOTIVE AXLE BOX
Exploded view of 3PH locomotive Axle box was developed in-house by
using condemned Axle box. This is helpful to staff and supervisors for

better understanding of parts and their arrangements inside the Axle
Box. This is also useful for correct fitment of various bearings and other
related components with proper interference/clearance during
overhauling of Axle box.

xii) ISO CERTIFICATION OF ELS/LGD

OBTAINING OF LEAN SIX SIGMA CERTIFICATION

Lean Six Sigma is a management approach and method that
endeavors to eliminate any wasteful use of resources plus defects in

production processes so as to improve employee and company
performance. Obtaining of Lean Six Sigma certification was an action
plan item as per the Action Plan Targets for the year 2021-22. LOA
was issued to M/s ANEXAS Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., vide
C/E.221/ELS/LGD/RC/04, Dt.22.12.2021. As part of this, firm M/s Anexas
conducted a training programme at ELS/LGD. Supervisors and staff

participated in Six Sigma certification program (Green Belt) aimed at
educating individuals in the process of analyzing processes and
outcomes in the pursuit of reducing waste and reducing defects using
set of tools and techniques to improve production processes,
eliminate defects, and guarantee quality from 13.09.22 to 23.09.22.
