but include any period of work, annual leave, sick leave,
study leave and any other paid leave.
Dependent/Family Meaning that if male Employee is his wife and children, and
if female is her husband and children. An entitled child is a
child borne by an Employee who is not more than 21 years
old. The age limit does not apply to mentally, physically
challenge child. The terms ‘child’ include a stepchild and
adopted child who is recognized by law.
4.0 CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT
Company shall appoint any candidate with qualifications, competencies and/or
experience as stipulated from time to time in accordance with the stated position
and pass an interview by the interview panel. The appointed candidate should not
be in employment elsewhere at the point of joining the company.
For the appointment of positions of head of department and above shall obtain
the approval of the Chief Executive Officer.
4.1 DATE OF APPOINTMENT
The date of appointment of a new employee is the date of reporting for duty. This
regulation also applies to an employee who is serving but has been appointed to a
new position.
4.2 TERMS OF REFERENCE
The Management of the Company is responsible for setting the job description of
an employee who serves the Company and reserves the right to change all or part
of the job description for the purpose of structuring the Management and its
business.
4.3 RELOCATION
The Management of the Company reserves the right to relocate an Employee’s
place of duty, and the Employee involved is required to report for duty at the new
place as determined by the Management of the Company. If an Employee fails to
adhere to the directive to transfer then the Employee is considered to be breach of
the Contract of Service and the service is deemed terminated automatically.
4.3.1 TRANSFER
Company has an absolute discretion to transfer an Employee to any other job,
department or division and work location or affiliates whether being incorporated
before or after the commencement of work by the Employee.
