Human Resource shall transfer an employee to another department if an immediate
family member is working in the same department.
4.3.2 Secondment
Secondment is the movement of an Employee to other subsidiaries or affiliates to
address the need or to fill a job vacancy in which the required skills are not
available within the entity in need.
4.3.3 Redeployment
Redeployment is a movement of an Employee to another department due to the
restructuring of the Company's organization structure.
4.3.4 Transfer, Secondment and Redeployment Process
Human Resource shall coordinate based on Employee requisition requirements
issued by the respective department. Human Resource shall conduct a
coordination with the respective Head of the Department to arrange the
movement of Employee. The Management Committee and Chief Executive shall
approve of the transfers, secondment or redeployment.
4.4 PROBATIONARY PERIOD
(i) All Employees appointed on a permanent basis shall undergo a probationary
period which is three (3) months for all Employees.
(ii) After the expiration of the probationary period, Company may either confirm
the appointment of the Employee in writing or extend the probationary
period for three (3) months for all Employees.
(iii) After expiration of the extension of the probationary period, Company shall
confirm or terminate the employment.
(iv) If the Employee does not receive the job confirmation letter, the Employee is
deemed yet to be confirmed.
(v) The effective date of job confirmation shall not be later than the first day
after expiration of the extension of the probationary period.
(vi) Company’s Employees who have been confirmed, retired or resigned and
appointed in the same scheme of service in Company are exempted from
the requirements to undergo a probationary period.
