(iv) An overtime claim must be minimum 1 hour after employees normal
working hours.
5.1.2 Eligibility to Work Overtime
(i) All the Employees with a basic salary of RM2,000 and below are eligible to be
paid overtime allowance but any overtime needs to be approved by the
Head Of Department.
(ii) Employees with a basic salary of RM2,001 and above, the overtime
allowance claims are based on the rate determined by the Management of
the Company to the amount not less than RM15.00 per hour. The
management shall, by a Management directive, make changes to overtime
allowance rate for this group provided that such changes are not lower than
the amount of RM15.00 per hour and shall be notified through an internal
email.
(iii) The Employees with the basic salary of RM4,001 and above are not eligible
for overtime allowance claims. The Company may decide overtime allowance
claims will be replaced with replacement leave.
(iv) All the replacement leave and Overtime will be depending on the approval
and instruction from the management.
(v) Calculation for overtime are as follows:-
a) Ordinary Rate of Pay (ORP)
ORP = (Basic Salary) / 26 = RM______ / day
Hourly Rate of Pay (HRP)
HRP = (ORP) / 8 = RM______ / hr
b) Normal Day Overtime Calculation
Total hour x 1.5 x HRP = RM_______
c) Off-day Overtime Calculation
Total hour x 1.0 x HRP = RM_______
d) Rest Day Overtime Calculation
< 8 hours = 1.5 ORP = RM_______
<8 > 5 hours = 1.0 ORP = RM_______
