(iv) Sick leave shall not be granted to Employees who experience pain, injury
and pain on illness suffered due to the Employees' participation in illegal
or dangerous activities.
(v) If the Employee takes regular Sick Leave for more than 40 days in a year,
he/she is directed to consult an appointed panel doctor to verify the
illness.
(vi) The Company may decide to get an employee checked at a clinic of
company’s choice if the company doubts the authenticity of the Sick Leave
provided.
6.9 UNPAID LEAVE
An Employee shall be granted Unpaid Leave for important personal reasons at the
discretion of the Company.
6.10 LEAVE APPLICATION
(i) Leave application shall be applied no later than three (3) days prior to
going for leave except for cases of Sick Leave, Emergency Leave and
Maternity Leave. For support employees, leave shall be approved by the
Head of Department and Human Resource. The Chief Executive Officer
shall approve the leave application by the Head of Department. Leave that
is not approved shall be considered absent from work without permission.
7.0 ALLOWANCES
7.1 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE
(i) An Employee who is authorized by the Management of the Company to use
his/her own vehicle for official duties is eligible to claim a Travel Allowance in
accordance with the following rates:
