customers, and prospective customers and so on, claims are subject to the
approval of the Management of the Company and the official receipt
submitted.
j) Claims for expenses shall be supported by official receipts or bills. If there is
no official receipt or bill, then Employees shall make recommendations
accordingly.
k) Any addition and change of allowance shall be applied by the Head of
Division and subject to the Chief Executive Officer approval.
l) Payment for entertainment expenses of Company’s official business when
attending official functions including food expenses for business partners,
customers, prospective customers, etc. Claims are subject to the approval of
the Management of the Company and the official receipt submitted.
8.0 FUNERAL EXPENSES
Funeral expenses of RM1,000 is payable by Company at the company’s
discretion to the Employee’s next of kin in the event of an Employee’s death.
9.0 TERMINATION OF SERVICE BENEFIT
(i) The Company may retrench any employees that are redundant i.e. who are
in excess of the Company’s requirements.
(ii) Where the Company terminates the service of an employee on the grounds
of redundancy, written notice shall be one (1) months from the date such
retrenchment exercise becomes effective.
(iii) The quantum of retrenchment benefit payable to permanent employees
shall be as follows:
a. Ten (10) days of wage for every year of continuous service with the
company for a period of less than two (2) years; or
b. Fifteen (15) days of wage for every year of continuous service with the
company for a period of more than two (2) years but less than five (5)
years; or
c. Twenty (20) days of wage for every year of continuous service with the
company for a period of more than five (5) years, and pro-rata in respect
of an incomplete year, calculated to the nearest month.
d. For employees that serve less than one (1) year but after their
confirmation will be based on a pro-rata basis.
