2 REVIEW: DRAW A MONSTER PREP

Prior to activity: review body parts song.
Goal: draw a silly person with details by asking the kids to help.
Set Up: Get the class together in a circle and get your white board out

 “Clase, ¿un circulo o un cuadrado? ¿Un triangulo? Draw the head
 Ask: ¿Tiene un ojo? Dos ojos? ¿Tres ojos? ¿Ojos azules? Verdes
 ¿Tiene una nariz grande o una nariz pequena? VOCABULARY
 ¿Tiene una oreja? Cuatro orejas?
 ¿Tiene mucho pelo? Tiene un pelo? Tiene tres pelos?
 ¿Tiene un estomago grande? Pequeno?
 ¿Es nino o una nina? Un monstruo? Esta bien? ¿Esta
mal? ¿Triste, Feliz?
 Keep going with piernas, brazos, boca, etc.
 Ask: ¿Come? Baila? ¿Tiene perro? Do fun add-ons to the picture!
 When done, give him a silly name and ask the kids to describe him/
her/it

Create a stage with kids sitting around it in chairs. (p. 27)
Hay un gato. Hola gato! !—> ¿hay un gato o hay un niño? ¿Hay una tortuga?

El gato tiene chocolate en el parque. ¿El gato tiene fruta? ¿Tiene pizza?
Hay un perro. Hola perro! ¿hay un gato o hay un perro? ¿Hay un cocodrillo?
VOCABULARY
El perro tiene pizza en el parque. ¿El perro tiene pizza o tiene fruta?
El gato ve la pizza. El gato quiere la pizza. ¿El gato quiere pizza o quiere ..?

El perro ve el chocolate. El perro quiere el chocolate. ¿El perro ve . . .?

El gato le da parte del chocolate al perro. ¿El gato le da brócoli? Chocolate?
El perro le da parte de la pizza al gato. ¿El perro le da fruta? Le da . . .?

El gato come, el perro come. ¿El gato come pizza o come brócoli?
