                        TARGET VOCABULARY

               ACTIVITY: TEACH VOCAB WITH ACTIONS AND PLAY FREEZE TAG
           Move to a new location Have students stand up!
           Teach word with a movement/motion. Use sound affects too!

           Show the picture cards to teach/reinforce the learning  (ask the
            easy questions on the back of the cards) to provide repetition.   VOCABULARY

           Practice by having the kids do the actions you say such as:    camina rapido, cami-
            na despacio, levantate rapido, levantate despacio, baila rapido, baila loco . . .
            (have kids help you come up with actions too)

           PLAY FREEZE TAG!:  Say an action like camina, camina, camina and the say
            “Para” and kids have to freeze.  Give each child a chance to say what action to do.

         TRANSISTION: AGARRA UNA SILLA (repeat) Have kids grab a chair
                                              and form a semi-circle

           Create a stage and tell story on p. 10, “el chocolate” Have kids act   

                nos vemos muy, muy pronto . . .
