           Create a stage and tell  listed story (not in book, version B of last     Ask tons of questions and be very
             week’s story). Have kids act out, but show them how to act as you go   dramatic as you tell!

           Tell kids what “Hay” means as you use it
           TIP:   for “hay un problema, teach “dun, dun, dun. . . Or  oh no oh no!
         Hay un gato. Hola gato!                            Hay un gato o hay un perro?   VOCABULARY

          Hay un nino.  Hola nino!                         Nino o hay una nina?

         El gato tiene pizza.                                    El gato tiene pizza o tiene chocolate?
         Hay un problema!                                      Oh no! oh no!
         El nino no tiene pizza.                            (Yell:  No tiene pizza, no tiene pizza!)

         El nino ve la pizza.                                       El nino ve la pizza o ve chocolate?


         El nino camina rapido, rapido, rapido.  Camina rapido o despacio?
         El nino agarra la pizza.                            Agarra la pizza o agarra fruta?

         El gato grita, “es mi pizza” y agarra la pizza (Tip: have all the kids
                                                yell, Es mi pizza!”

            5          GAME                                             PREP

                  PLAY SLAP!
         1.   Kids get one set per partner pair and put
             the cards out picture side up.
         2.   The teacher calls the words out and the
             first child to “slap” the card puts the card in            TIPS
             their own pile

         3.   Keep going until all the cards have been
             slapped
         4.   For the last one, say, “first person to say
             the last card”
         Variations:  challenge the kids to see how many words they can say by looking at the
         pictures.     For fun, have winners play winners and the others find new partners.

                  Sit in a circle and sing, “adios clase ” song
           Have each kid say, “nos vemos” to you as you say goodbye. Give
             kids a high five!

                  Adiós Emma, adiós Riley, adiós Jackson . .  . Nos vemos
                  muy, muy pronto. Adiós  Jenna, adiós Nora, adiós Profe   REMINDER
                  Dunn, nos vemos muy, muy pronto . . .
