Winning an Award is always an extreme feeling. If
you win it for “Living your Passion” and from the hands
of someone who you have known for ages – It is exhilarating.

I have been with NIQC as a trainer for less than 6 months, and I got
to win the DN Business Excellence Sapphire Award for excellence in
Delivery for the Quarter – July to September 2020.

Amazing feeling it is !! Especially if you note the year is 2020 where nothing seems to be
amazing. We had the opportunity to be part of a grandiose celebration of winning and
winners during the DN Business Excellence awards where many of our students from NIQC
had got to display the projects of improvement they had done and earn rewards for them.

It was a proud moment when the MC actually announced my name and I was invited on the virtual
stage to receive the award from Sudarshan.P.N who is a Sr.Director from Deloitte. Sudarshan has
been a friend from school days and we have literally grown up together and continued to stay in touch
over the years. It was a pleasant surprise that the team DN had arranged that I get to win a trophy
from him.

I had been given this opportunity by Dheerendra Negi to work with him as a Lead Trainer and work on
training students in Six Sigma concepts. I have been enjoying this completely over the last few months
and putting my heart and soul into the training because this is what I love doing. Dheerendra actually
added icing to this cake by nominating for this international award and I felt so deeply touched by this
gesture.

The award further inspires me to put more effort into doing what I do best and reaping rich awards not
only for NIQC but for myself and the community I live in. In growth of the continual improvement
culture the community is going to see great success and if I can be a small wheel in this immense
movement it would mean the world to me.
