                        Group Guarantee          A temporary hold on the guest's credit

                                                 credit,  often  used  for  guarantee
                                                 purposes.
                        Upgraded Room            A document that outlines the terms and
                        Guarantee                conditions  of  the  guarantee,  often
                                                 signed by the guest upon check-in.
                        Guarantee Form           Different  methods  used  to  guarantee
                                                 reservations,  including  credit  card,
                                                 cash, or travel agency guarantee.
                        Overbooking              The  amount  temporarily  reserved  on
                                                 the guest's credit card or bank account
                                                 as part of the guarantee process.
                        Guarantee Type           A guarantee that the guest will receive
                                                 an  upgraded  room  or  a  specific  room
                                                 category as specified in the reservation.
                        Guarantee Expiry         A  situation  where  a  hotel  has  more
                                                 guaranteed  reservations  than  available
                                                 rooms,       requiring      alternative
                                                 accommodations for some guests.
                        Guarantee Hold           The  date  and  time  until  which  a
                                                 guarantee is valid; the guest must check
                                                 in  before  this  time  to  secure  the
                                                 reservation.

                        when the guest already chose and booked the room before they

                        procedures  that  must  be  followed  by  the  guest,  likewise  the
