“All right, I'll see you at home at midday” she said
without even listening to the end of James' answer.
James immediately called his best friend Thomas to
tell him this wonderful news but was disappointed
to hear that he wasn't the only guest. Worse, that
idiot Charlie was invited as well. James had hated
Charlie ever since he found out he loved Kate, and
Charlie hated James for the same reason. James
angrily decided he wasn't going to the party. But then
a scary thought came into his head. This dream,
where he had died, had started the same way he'd
started that day. But in his dream he went to the
party and made a fool of himself in front of Kate. Was
it a premonitory dream? Now he was sure he
shouldn't go. So it was with a twinge in his heart,
thinking of how close Charlie and Kate might be, that
James returned to his room after breakfast. James was
a jovial and impulsive person and sometimes reacted
in a bad mood. James was a 16-year-old teenager, had
his father's blue eyes and was of average height. He
had brown hair that he ruffled every time people
talked about them. Very sporty, he often reported the
events of his daily life to the sport, today he had the
feeling that he had missed a penalty kick.
