him. Its splendour did not decrease and the light was
omnipresent sublimating even more the place.

“It’s very kind and generous of you, my dear
Edward.”, replied in the first place M. Stuart who
was staring straight ahead. He turned finally his
attention to the table and said: “I accept”.

At those words, the joy spread as quickly as shooting
start through the children’s eyes. Miss Stuart had to
put her hands under the table because they were
shaking a lot under the influence of the emotion. Her
heart was beating faster and faster as she was
thinking about what was happening to them. M.
Seward seemed to be the happiest.

“Well, I am leaving tomorrow to Germany. You can
settle here as soon as possible. My households will
stay at your disposal”, declared M. Seward looking
at them, always smiling. Suddenly, his eyes turned
more black and he said with a low threatening voice:
