“Prepare the horses and the carriage. I go to Germany
now!”, he ordered.
“But, sir, there is a storm outside and…”
“I said now! Hurry up!”, yelled M. Stuart, furious.
The households looked at each other without
understanding but given M. Stuart’s anger, they
quickly obeyed. Alerted by the noise, Miss Stuart left
the living room and inquired:
“Honey, what’s going on?”
“Go wake up Kate. You go to your parents house,
you will be safe in there”, replied rapidly M. Stuart
“What? But why?”, took offence Miss Stuart.
“Do what I told you! There is no time to lose. I will
explain you later when you will be safe”, raged M.
Stuart.
“What about Georges?”
“He is… I take care of him. Go now.”
Skeptical but trusting her husband, she headed for
Kate’s bedroom.
